As the 95th Academy Awards cars ceremony approaches, Cinéma Moderne is pleased to offer moviegoers the chance to catch up with the presentation of 13 Oscar nominated films as part of a series of screenings that will span from March 2nd to 12th. As always, the public will be able to watch his film while sipping a drink from the Cinéma Moderne café-bar, including the “OSCAR” cocktail created expressly for the occasion!

Six films nominated for BEST FILM: Everything Everywhere All at Once by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, The Fabelmans by Steven Spielberg, The Banshees of Inisherin by Martin McDonagh, Tár by Todd Field, Triangle of Sadness by Ruben Östlund, as well as Women Talking by Sarah Polley.
Three films nominated for BEST DOCUMENTARY: Fire of Love by Sara Dosa, All the Beauty and the Bloodshed by Laura Poitras, as well as A House made of Splinters by Simon Lereng Vilmont, presented in collaboration with the Ukrainian Club of Montreal and the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada.
Two films nominated in the category of BEST ANIMATED FILM: Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro and Marcel the Shell with Shoes On by Dean Fleischer Camp.
And finally, from the category of BEST FOREING FILM, EO by Polish filmmaker Jerzy Skolimowski, as well as a film nominated in the category of BEST ACTOR, Aftersun by Charlotte Wells, for the performance of Paul Mescal.
