Her Plot of Blue Sky

Her Plot of Blue Sky is a poignant film made by Kamila Kumic in collaboration with several Amazigh women living in a women’s center in Morocco. Through photographs taken by the protagonists, in the style of a poetic filmed diary, unfolds the disturbing testimony of one of these women survivors of violence, Fatima. Through this collage of still images and voice-overs, the authors reveal the invisible, intimate sphere of a harrowing daily life, as well as the behind-the-scenes work involved in creating a film that is tested by the sensitive, violent nature of the subjects tackled.

Branden

In the form of a visual poem, Branden tells the story of women who have left everything behind, fleeing the inferno of their homeland. The fire consumes their memories, the smoke confuses their future, but their voices, woven together, form a melody of exile and hope. They wander between languages and borders, carrying with them the burn of absence and the weight of an incomplete arrival. Between pain and resilience, this film is an ode to those who, even when uprooted, continue to grow.

Stand out of my sunlight

Joseph is an elderly man with Diogenes syndrome, a compulsive hoarding habit that causes him to overfill his apartment. The director, Messaline, helps Joseph clean and takes this opportunity to get to know him—not only through their conversations but through his accumulated objects and stratified memories of the years spent in this apartment. This film about memory, identity, and ostracism revolves around the budding and delicate friendship between Joseph and Messaline.
