This program is dedicated to the memory of Manon Labrecque, a delicate artist of integrity and uniqueness, who passed away too soon earlier this year. Curated by Denis Vaillancourt, it aims to highlight the richness of the artist’s work, focusing in particular on the performativity of the body and images, on the impermanence of one and the permanence of the other. This tribute is not intended as a retrospective, but rather as an invitation to celebrate Manon, to appreciate the vivacity of her work, and to perform, ourselves, her perseverance through the persistence of her image.
